About Terry

Terry Conrad is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion.  His extensive study of cults is evident throughout his first book, Illusion of Grandeur.  In 2010, Illusion of Grandeur was a quarter-finalist entry in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award, a contest that began with 10,000 entries.

Terry also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  For twelve years Terry was a Guidance Counselor and later an Assistant Principal.   Through his commitment to education, he has dedicated countless hours guiding and encouraging today’s youth to pursue their goals and dreams.

In 2014 he completed his MAcc degree (Accounting) at Kennesaw State University, and began his new career as an auditor. Terry has since become licensed as a CPA in Georgia, and is now a Senior Accounting Manager.  He currently resides with his wife, Dawn, and their beagle, “Boomer”, in Atlanta.
